Valli Srikanthapalan
Research Analyst

Valli is an experienced Equity Analyst and Fund Manager, specialising in European Consumer Goods and Emerging Markets. She worked for AllianceBernstein between 2000 and 2009, where she managed the consumer sleeve of the International Research Growth Fund and covered Consumer Staples and Luxury Goods. Prior to that she worked for Gartmore as a Research Analyst covering Emerging Markets. Valli has been awarded Institutional Investor 'Best of the Buyside' and number 1 ranking in Thomson Extel survey in her field. Valli has a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics.

Jonathan Cheah

Jonathan joined Trinetra in 2021 having completed an MSc in Finance with Banking at the University of Bath School of Management. While studying, he created a financial blog that focused on thematic investment opportunities.

He grew up in Singapore and Hong Kong, where he developed a strong interest in Asian consumer companies that drive social and digital transformation.

Jonathan played rugby for the Hong Kong Under 18s and Under 20s teams.

Oliver Crawley

Investment Specialist

Oliver joined Trinetra in April 2024 as an investment specialist. Previously, he spent 17 years at Somerset Capital Management LLP where he was an initial partner at the firm’s inception in May 2007. Prior to this, he sold fixed income securities at Barclays Capital. Oliver has worked with global institutional and wealth management clients during his career, which has focused on specialist Global Emerging Markets Equity investment products.  He graduated from Bristol University in 2001 with a BA in History.

Stephanie Winterhagen
Chief Compliance Officer

Stephanie joined Trinetra as a Compliance Officer in January 2022. She formerly worked as a Compliance Officer at Stafford Capital Partners, a global mid-sized real asset manager, specialising in sustainable and responsible investing.

From 2016 to 2021, Stephanie was employed as a Senior Compliance Analyst at AllianceBernstein covering a variety of asset classes and countries across EMEA. Stephanie started her financial services career in 1998 at Pall Mall Partners, a small investment management boutique specialising in European high yield bonds and venture capital. During her time at Pall Mall, she held various roles including Head of Compliance and MLRO of the venture capital business. Other roles include fund operations and marketing manager.

Stephanie holds a BA/MA in English and Economics from the University of Kassel, Germany.

Beatriz Urgel Esteban
Partner, Sustainability Officer
Director at Trinetra Foundation

Between 2007 and 2013, Beatriz was Carbon Development Director for Camco Clean Energy, a climate and impact fund management firm, working in emerging markets on clean energy transition. She was responsible for the carbon credits portfolio and revenue generation from carbon sales.

Previously she worked as a consultant for Carbon Resource Management, launching the company and setting up its carbon operations and compliance function.

Beatriz was a project manager for Temenos between 2001 and 2006, responsible for implementing banking software solutions. From 1999 to 2001 she was a consultant with KPMG, having previously worked in Client Relationship Management at Fidelity and Derivatives at Commerzbank.

Beatriz has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Zaragoza in Spain.

Tassos Stassopoulos

Tassos founded Trinetra in 2016 as a small, dedicated investment boutique using ethnographic research to capture growth opportunities in emerging markets.

Prior to that he was Head of EM Growth Equity at Ashmore which he joined after nine years at AllianceBernstein where he was Portfolio Manager for Emerging Consumer, Global Growth and Thematic equity products.

He was previously a Managing Director at Credit Suisse, for six years he was the senior analyst for European travel and leisure, twice ranked #1 in the Institutional Investor survey, and then became a Portfolio Manager at the firm's internal hedge fund, Modal Capital.

He also spent eight years as a Chartered Accountant and then as a management consultant at Arthur Andersen. Tassos holds an MA in Economics from Cambridge University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Andy Reiss

Research Analyst

Andy has over two decades of experience in research.  He was a Director of Research at AllianceBernstein in New York, focusing on the impact of major strategic shifts, including those caused by disruptive technologies.

Before that he covered consumer and TMT sectors as a senior equity analyst in London, having started his investment career at AXA Investment Managers. His sector focus included telecommunications, airlines, leisure and retail. He was awarded Institutional Investor 'Best of the Buyside' and achieved a number 1 ranking in the Thomson Extel survey.

In 2012 Andy became a Deputy Director in the UK Civil Service, where he advised the Cabinet Office and HM Treasury on economic policy. He then co-founded advisory firm Fingleton, providing strategic advice on competition and regulatory issues to CEOs and government departments.

Andy holds a BA and MA in Zoology from Oxford University.

Andy is a member of the firm's Executive Committee.
